David Cotner
Senior Pastor
Pastor Dave has been our Senior Pastor since January 2025. Before coming to our desert oasis, he served for 11 years as the Lead Pastor of Prairie Flower Baptist Church in Washington, Iowa. Pastor Dave comes to our church with a passion to preach the Bible, love on the church, and chase after the homeless and addicted from the Verde Valley to the Phoenix Valley.
Pastor Dave was born in Seoul, South Korea and came to faith in Christ when he was a young boy. He is an Iraq War Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army from 2006-2010. He is an ordained minister and received a degree in Pastoral Studies from Faith Baptist Bible College. Pastor Dave's greatest passion is preaching the Gospel, and his greatest earthly treasure is his wife, Heather, and their seven children (four biological and three adopted).

Al Tellis
Church Elder
Al Tellis is one of our church's elders. His primary responsibility is to care for the congregation by offering spiritual leadership and guidance. Al also serves as Pastor Dave's chief counselor on all matters related to the church.
Al was born in Dayton, Ohio and was raised in Phoenix, Arizona. After coming to faith in Christ as a young man, he eventually went on to serve in different local churches as a deacon and an elder. Al is married to his lovely wife, Jackie. He enjoys serving the Lord and restoring vintage motorcyles.

David Wittmayer
Church Deacon
David Wittmayer is one of our church's deacons. His primary role is to care for the congregation by meeting the physical/security needs of our people. David also serves as our church's treasurer and ensures a balanced budget from year to year.
David was born in Glasgow, Montana and came to faith in Christ as a young teenager. He is a Navy Veteran and a retired businessman. He is married to his wife, Lora, and together they have 5 children, several grandchildren, and a couple of great grandchildren. David is our oldest serving church member and is a faithful rock to our church family.

Kyle was born in Waterville, Maine, the youngest of four boys, and came to faith in Christ as a young teenager. A lover of learning, he spent 31 years of his adulthood teaching high school math in Maine and Arizona. He has been married to his wife, Karen, since 1989 and together they have two children and four grandchildren. Kyle loves dogs, hockey, and almost any adventure outdoors.
